International Social Network Study

Users talk. Not only in but also about social networks. Over 44.400 globally surveyed and evaluated user opinions ranked Facebook as the most popular social network in the world.

The main focus of the netnographic study “International Social Networks“, published in May 2008, was on the buzz concerning the 100 largest networks in the world. However, the study’s objective was not only the evaluation of the overall buzz but also the derivation of image values. Moreover, the study analysed marketing opportunities within the different networks and user acceptance of widgets or banners respectively. The social networks were also examines with regard to their mobile usage options.
